What we will and will not promise

Recruitment pages tend to promise passion and impact. Here is the more useful version.

We will protect your supervision

Fortnightly, with a clinician, and it does not get cancelled because the roster is short. That is the difference between staying five years and burning out in one.

We will cap your caseload

Eight to ten in OOHC, six in preservation. When we exceed it we say so and we fix it, rather than calling it a busy period.

We will not pretend it is easy

You will sit with people on the worst day of their lives. There is a debrief after every critical incident and an EAP that people actually use.

The practical detail

Award and above

SCHADS award as the floor, not the target, with salary packaging available.

Flexible where it works

Casework is not a work-from-home job, but rosters, compressed weeks and school hours are all on the table.

Training paid for

Trauma-informed practice, cultural safety and the tickets your role needs, on work time.

Real induction

Two weeks with a buddy, shadow shifts before solo shifts, and no caseload in week one.

How to apply

No cover letter theatre

Send a CV and tell us in a few paragraphs why this work, and what you would want from a supervisor. We will reply either way, within a week.

Every role requires a working with children check, and NDIS roles require worker screening. We are an equal opportunity employer, and we particularly encourage applications from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
